In software development\, this development is particularly visible: instead of merely generating code suggestions\, LLMs can write\, modify\, test\, and refactor code\, and interact with external tools and environments. \nThese capabilities lower the barrier to creating small\, task-specific applications\, accelerate prototyping\, and enable more individualized software solutions. At the same time\, they raise questions about how software development practices\, roles\, and quality standards may evolve. \n\n\nContent of the event The talk will begin with a brief conceptual framing of how large language models work and how tool integration enables agent-like behavior. Interaktiv und verständlich zeigen wir anhand von unterschiedlichen KI-Anwendungen\, wie vielfältig KI bereits eingesetzt wird. \nAls KI-Kompetenzzentrum legen wir besonderen Wert auf die Vermittlung der grundlegenden technischen Funktionsweisen. Wir erklären beispielhaft verschiedene Machine Learning Algorithmen und demonstrieren diese anhand unserer Exponate. \nOb am Flughafen\, an der S-Bahn-Station\, beim Antirassismus Training oder in einem Bienenstock – KI unterstützt bei ganz unterschiedlichen Aufgaben. DESCRIPTION:During the guided tour of the ARIC showroom\, you will learn how artificial intelligence is used in practice.\n\n\nIn the ARIC AI showroom\, AI becomes accessible and tangible at a low threshold. In an interactive and understandable way\, we use various AI applications to show how diverse AI is already being used.  \nAs an AI competence center\, we place particular emphasis on communicating the basic technical functions. We explain various machine learning algorithms by way of example and demonstrate them using our exhibits.  \nWhether at the airport\, at an S-Bahn station\, during anti-racism training or in a beehive – AI provides support for a wide variety of tasks. During a showroom tour\, you can expect a mixture of technical theory and a demonstration of the AI exhibits.  \n \nThe public showroom tour is from the age of 16.
