We are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (January 22nd, 2025) between Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC)/EDIH Hamburg and OccitanIA. Even better — we’ve already started implementing first activities!
Here’s what we plan to achieve together:
🟢 (𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲) 𝗔𝗜: Co-develop European domain-specific and legally clean large language models and vision models.
🟢 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Unlock synergies in logistics, supply chains, and smart mobility.
🟢𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Enable mutual access to infrastructures, promote cluster expansions, and attract investments.
🟢𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀: Share best practices and support SMEs in adopting key technologies.
🟢𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: Share tools, frameworks and services to fuel joint innovation in both regions.
We’re taking concrete steps to build an EU DeepTech Alliance that drives critical mass through collaboration. Germany and France are natural partners, offering immense potential in areas like AI, data infrastructures, supercomputing, quantum technologies, and space tech.
