How do real-world planning challenges become useful optimization models, and where can quantum computing make a difference? Drawing on JR Central’s crew-planning project and the SparQ power-generation scheduling project, JIJ will illustrate how operational expertise, mathematical modeling, and classical–quantum workflows come together. The session will distinguish between demonstrated results and future potential and discuss how companies can evaluate an initial project.
