AI is quickly becoming part of how organisations work, but who decides how it’s used, and who is accountable when something goes wrong? That’s the question AI governance tries to answer.This 20-minute session is an accessible introduction to the topic. We’ll look at what AI governance actually means, why it matters for organisations of any size, and how regulation such as the EU AI Act fits into the picture. We’ll then go through its core building blocks: knowing which AI systems are in use, assessing their risks, setting clear policies, and keeping humans in the loop. The session closes with common misconceptions and a few simple first steps. No technical background required.
