Data is the foundation of innovative business models. Some of this data is expensive to obtain, but there is also freely available public data, Open Government Data (OGD for short), which you can use for your company.
The development of business models and products and the tapping of new target groups is often rather random. The use of freely available public data enables more systematic work and a better approach to potential customers.
Using examples, we will show you how you can use OGD to systematically develop business models and customer approaches. In addition to an introduction to the topic of OGD, we will show you how you can identify and use potential data sources using specific examples from the trades, services and retail sectors.
