Drawing on JR Central’s crew-planning project and the SparQ power-generation scheduling project, JIJ will illustrate how operational expertise, mathematical modeling, and classical–quantum workflows come together. The session will distinguish between demonstrated results and future potential and discuss how companies can evaluate an initial project.

Meet other AI and technology enthusiasts at our established AI regulars’ table, which has been bringing the Hamburg AI scene together for more than three years. At the AI Mix & Mingle in the Sofabar, you can exchange ideas or talk about your AI projects in a relaxed atmosphere. There are no lectures. The focus is on exchanging ideas and making contacts.
Registration is not required, but we’d love to have you: To help us plan better, we’d appreciate it if you could register in advance via Eventbrite. But you’re also welcome to drop by spontaneously to network with us and others and have interesting conversations about AI and the world!

Forest areas and urban green spaces—as well as their vitality and changes—have now become a focus of European and national legislation and administration. This presentation will outline two different monitoring approaches using Copernicus data and digital orthophotos. The goal is to make geographic and environmental data on forests and urban green spaces in Schleswig-Holstein available via the publicly accessible DigitalAtlasNord (DANord) web portal to forest owners, forestry operations, nature conservation organizations, interested citizens, and others.
